EYELID SURGERY (BLEPHAROPLASTY)
Blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery allows the removal of excess skin and fatty deposits on the upper or lower eyelid. There are different surgical techniques which must be personalized for each patient. The aim is to rejuvenate the look in a natural way, and to improve signs of aging.
VOID
PREOPERATIVE
In preparing for the surgery, all our patients should undergo a preoperative study for their safety. This study consists of a blood test with coagulation and an electrocardiogram. Sometimes and ophthalmological study is required.
POSTOPERATIVE
This surgery is usually performed in an outpatient setting (does not require hospital admission).
At discharge, you should avoid physical exercise. The use of sunglassess is recommended. Sun protection is essential at least for the first year.
FACELIFT AND NECK LIFT SURGERY (RHYTIDECTOMY)
The facelift and neck lift are surgical techniques that allow correcting skin laxity of the face and neck. The incision lines are planned to be well concealed (hairline at the temple, around the ear and lower scalp). During this procedure, wrinkles and fatty accumulations are eliminated and the flaccid areas are tightened, restoring a youthful appearance.

EAR SURGERY (OTOPLASTY)
Otoplasty allows correction of different aesthetic malformations of the ear. The aim is to achieve an ear of balanced proportions, improving its shape and position. There are different techniques which must be personalized for each patient. Overall, the skin and cartilage can be modified to achieve a more natural ear.

At discharge, you will be able to walk and live a relatively normal life from the day after surgery, avoiding physical exercise. It is recommended to wear an otoplasty band or headband for 6 weeks.
